A projection mapped sculpture for TRANSFER Gallery
I designed, built, and projection mapped a sculpture for Rosa Menkman's solo exhibition "Behind White Shadows" at TRANSFER Gallery in Brooklyn, NY. The project had a super short timeline and a wide range of things that needed to be done. I designed the 3D form in Rhino and iterated with input from the artist before landing on a final form. Next I gathered materials and set up shop in the gallery. Then I constructed the sculpture over the course of two days before I had to head out of town for a week. While I was away, others from the gallery painted and prepared the sculpture for projection and upon return I set up the projectors and projection mapped the shape for the installation.
